Complete Spas in Evesham has been voted the UK’s ‘Most Loved Hot Tub Business’, according to a nationwide search run by TheBestOf.
 
A two-week national campaign generated over 138,000 testimonials flooded in from the length and breadth of the country, nominating more than 30,000 businesses drawn from almost 400 towns and spanning every business type - from hairdressers, tattoo artists, fitness instructors and bridal stores through to bouncy castles accountants, architects, solicitors …even dentists and funeral directors.

The company offers a unique service within the Hot Tub industry by being able to offer the complete service, from finding a customer’s ideal spa through to installing the base and electrics all with their own in-house team

Showroom Extension

Well what a busy but great year 2009 was for Rachel and I, Complete Spas going from strength to strength with lots of things happening including several trips to europe delivering Hot Tubs to their new homes, Two more "make a wish" installs, with a big thanks going to all at Golden Coast and Marquis Spas for the donation of the spas and now we're extending the showroom.

With our best year in sales since we started we decided to expand the showroom increasing our floorspace and making room for several more spas and saunas. New in is a range of infeared and traditional saunas Starting from £950.

We still have a bit of painting to do and a few final small alterations but we now have to extra space filled with new and pre owned spas so come and have a look at what we've done and see whats new, and as our customers know the kettle is always on.

Lucy's wish

A local Hot Tub company has again made a little girls dreams come true by installing a Hot Tub on behalf of the “Make a Wish Foundation”

House bound 9 Year old Lucy Edwards suffers from Cerebral Palsy and was missing her regular swimming outings so with the help of Complete Spas at Blackminster Business Park, Marquis Spas and the Make a wish Foundation she can again reap the benefits of hot water with her family.

Swinging into action, Pete and Rachel Grinnall of Complete Spas carried out the site survey as soon as the ‘wish’ was granted, returning a few days later with colleague Ben Yates to prepare the concrete base, and even presenting Lucy with a rubber duck in anticipation of the arrival of the spa. At the same time, the ‘Reward’ Marquis Spa from UK distributor Golden Coast - who, with the US manufacturer, is a long-term supporter with over 200 wishes to their name - despatched the hot tub in order that it could be installed the following week

Complete Spas off to Germany

Earlier this year we were asked if we could collect a spa from Osnabruck (Germany) bring it back to our showroom, service, deliver and install to Catterick. NO PROBLEM was the reply.

5th August involved a nice early start for myself and 2 additional members of staff who came along for a bit of a jolly with the promise of fine German lager to The Channel Tunnel being a new experience for all three of us.

Upon reaching France (vowing never to travel by ferry ever again) we then had the fun of realising that the Sat Navs only worked for the country that you were in so back to relying on Google maps. from Calais to Osnabruck believe it or not is all dual carriageway. Brilliant!!!

We had a brief stop over in "Wankum" for lunch but by 5pm, 12 hours and 540 miles later we arrived at the clients house, Within an hour we had the spa on the dolly and a beer in hand waiting for the BBQ to complete it's task of cooking our homemade burgers. The client had kindly agreed for us to sleep at his home even with my ever-growing entourage and after a few bottles of wine we headed into town for a few Wheat beers.

 9 am next day we were on our way back to the UK with Spa in tow with only a quick stop over in Wankum again for pastries (see pic). Unfortunately the we had a delay of 2 hours on the tunnel due to fire???? but were still back at Steve's having cheese and biscuits with a bottle of duty free by 10 pm.

We kept the spa at the showroom for a couple of weeks while the customer moved back to the UK. The service was just a standard spit and polish as the spa was under 2 years old but we did rub it back to wood and give it 3 coats of new stain making it look like new.

The delivery was a walk in the park after the "Germany in a day" episode, it was delivered installed, wired, filled and tested with myself being back in the showroom for high tea at four.

We were please to undertake the job as the client understood the difficulties of the task as his previous removal men had taken 3 Months.

 When You Wish Upon a Spa…

Bubbly Katie Reynolds dreamt of relaxing in her own home hot tub – and a member of thebestof Evesham has played the role of Genie by helping grant her wish.

‘Make a Wish Foundation’ – a charity that aims to realise wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses – heard of Katie’s desire for a soothing spa in the garden of her Henley-in-Arden home. The youngster suffers from cerebral palsy and the spa’s air jets help to ease her condition.

And after teaming up with Complete Spas in nearby Evesham the Foundation has promised her a luxury Marquis Spa.

Pete Grinnall, who runs Complete Spas with wife Rachel, said: “We’re delighted for Katie and pleased to have been able to help out. Everyone has pulled together: we’re installing the spa for free, whilst other firms are also chipping in by donating their services.”

Complete Spas was recently runner-up in thebestof Evesham’s ‘Best Family Business’ awards thanks largely to the mass of online reviews that gave the company an average rating of “Truly Exceptional”.

Rachel added: “We now have a hyperlink from our own website to the review section on our thebestof feature so people can read how other customers enjoyed their week or weekend of spa pampering.

“These kinds of online review and testimonial facilities take time to develop and maintain – time that, as a small business, we don’t have – so it’s brilliant that thebestof look after this for us.”

New studios for Touch FM

Touch FM have recently moved to new studios and Pete and Rachel were invited to take a look around and meet some of the presenters.

Complete Spas have been advertising with Touch since November and have found it one of the best mediums of advertising that they use, reaching nearly 60'000 listeners throught the vale and cotswolds.

While a lot of Hot Tub and Spa Dealers have been struggling during the winter season Complete Spas have been going from Strength to Strength, with their hard work being recognised by one of the top Manufactures in the business.

Complete Spas have been awarded dealer of the month for March/April by one of their suppliers “The Canadian Spa Company” for outstanding sales and customer service.

Paul Streeter of “The Canadian Spa Company” Said “Complete Spas have been one of our most consistent dealers over the past year but with the opening of their new larger showroom they have really shone through with customer service and attention to detail being top of their priorities.”

The Canadian Spa Company has an impressive stockists list with their spas being sold in Argos, Tesco Direct, Homebase and Wicks to name just a few and along with their dealers this make them one of the best known and largest Spa manufacturers in the UK and Europe.

Pete Grinnall from Complete Spas commented “ The past year has been tough for a lot of Hot Tub dealers with the horrendous floods and summer sunny weather of 2007 being virtually non existent people just haven’t been thinking about their gardens and Hot Tubs.”

Mr Grinnall continued “Hopefully this year will be better and if we continue in the way that we have started then it will be our best year ever.

Moving to Blackminster Business Park has been a gamble for us with the current economic growth and people worried about the looming Credit Crunch but so far the gamble has been worth it we have seen sales Treble and 5 Hot Tubs a week going out on hire.”
